Default Fuel sending unit 97' chevy blazer

if anybody has changed out their fuel sending unit, I'm looking to do it coming up and I need a list of necessary tools, because I'm using a shop that's not my own, and I'll need to bring my own.
shoot me a message if you have done it and know what I'll need or just respond to this
help would greatly be appreciated, THANKS!!

2 pound hammer, case of beer...

Biggest problem Ive had was rusted hanger studs/ nuts etc. Muriatic acid works great to remove rust. Just not in your eyes/ face or groinal- crotchal region ( Red Green)

Old paint brush to clean crud away from tank opening. Some sort of spanner to loosen the big locking ring.

New fuel line to replace whats rotten to the cannister, fill neck etc. Possible the fuel fill hose is bad. Hoses can be inspected before removing the tank.

A little spare gas and container to wash debris out of the tank.

Repair Putty in case there are any rust holes in the tank.

Soldering gun/ solder might be handy in case the old connector(s) are bad.

Can of Rustoleum spray paint, wire brush. Spray paint the new assembly after install

2 cans of Under- Coating spray to coat the metal above the tank and/ or top of tank after cleaning l.

Alright noted, I'll keep that in mind for when I go do it.
do the fuel lines from the tank that need to be replaced, run from the tank till the fuel filter and past?
or are the lines just short?
