Default Fuel spider quality and a no start

Ok I have 3 blazers , I just did the intake gaskets and decided to “ upgrade to mpfi injectors”.now I had a standard auto products fuel spider that was in my shelf as a spare brand new in the box for about 7 months and decided to put it in the 01 , well that unit lasted about 10 minutes flooding cyl 1 and misfiring lean on almost every other injector . So rock auto honoured the 5 year warranty and sent out a new one , lol this one literally dumps all the fuel into the motor while cranking them empties totally to 0 pressure in less than 3 seconds , wtf , have you all had problems with the. Standard automotive products or from rock auto ?

And some history going back 15 years when I had to replace a cpi unit in a 92 jimmy first year of cpi , I went thru the exact same issue with the non ac delco brand until I gave up on rock auto and went to the local store which charges double , but I got an ac delco unit and it worked but , the unit I bought fort his 01 was 50 bucks more than the delco unit at rock auto , makes no sense that 15 years later the same issues exist on brand new injection units

so I am
in the middle of a dilemma , sell all 3 blazers as parts and never buy American cars again cause truthfully , the Chinese cars get the best of everything from china and it shows on friends cars that drive flawlessly for hundreds of thousands of miles

I’m in bc and I have an 01 and an 05 that both have the same injector virus otherwise the cars are perfect when they run that is .

so far the 96 blazer is the best out of them then again I haven’t tried to “ upgrade to mpfi “ I laugh at that, more of an downgrade to
undriveable

so just looking for some input on issues with new injection units

so just my feedback here but i tried 2 units FJ503 by standard motor products

first one had electrical problems on 2 injectors as well as leaking from underside of main injector body , warranty claim made .
warranty part came and fuel was bypassing into the return line and back to tank. i have to say rockauto really came thru here and made everything right .

i was able ot aquire an ac delco unti from them , it is installed and holding pressure , however i like to wait overnight to let the silicone set on teh lower intake but im both hopefull and confident that my issue is resolved and will update after its fully running .

In the years B.C. ---Before Covid-----The forum advice was to use only AC Delco or Delphi for the upgraded MPFI spider. Off that subject, it was also rec. to use those manuf. for Distributor cap and rotor, spark plugs and Ox 2 sensors.
