Default Further Diagnosing P0300 Issue

I recently purchased a Bluetoothe OBDII Scanner along with the Torque Pro app for the Android and started pulling readings right away. On my way to work the first morning I had it plugged in the reading showed Cyl. 3 with well over 1000 misfires (I am assuming) 1, 4, 6 were right at 1000 if not below. Cyls 2 and 5 had barley over 100.

I am just curious, but to me it sounds like I might have an ignition issue (I think its the cap and rotor [Duralast...yes I know.]). And it would seem that if it were to be either a fuel issue like my injectors or spark plugs that it would be limited to a specific cylinder.

I am going to replace the Cap and Rotor this weekend or next week sometime with ACDelco. Im hoing that will cure the P0300.

Any ideas? Anyone else use the Torque app that could provide some pointers for more accurate readings or how to measure it with how they should be.

Thanks.

i had same problem with mine.same code.took it to autozone and it said i had random misfire on cylinder1 and that it could have a vac.leak ignition low fuel pressure as well.well i did a complete tuneup didnt go away.started running craappy too and it started to smell bad out my tailpipes like rotten egg.i put a brand new map sensor and ignition coil.didnt help any xcept that it started rite up.and i was loosing alot of gas,so i did my research online and came to my conclusion that it could be my injectors.boght them out them on and runs like new.no problems, and i got over 200,000plus miles on it.oh i also put a brand new catalityc converter and all 3 sensors which ran me about 360 bucks.so just a few things u mite want to look into.let me know.
