Hi guys I may have really screwed up after fixing my issues back in July on my 1996 blazer all has been great till yesterday when i lost fuel no power to pump or so i thought. some how I got it in my head to run a wire from battery to pump, Here is where it all goes wrong lol. I for some reason also had it in my head the + wire to the pump was purple yes i did i put 12 volts to the Purple wire now my gas gauge is pegged past full at all times. can anyone tell me what i toasted is it the gauge in dash or the sending unit in tank? I tried unhooking battery gauge still past full. Thanks for any and all help. Good news I did get Truck back running just no clue on how much fuel l got lol.
