Default engine compatability?

i have a 98 blazer LT with a 4.3L engine, 4X4, 4 door and it has 376000 km's on it, possible head gasket leak etc....what i want to know is i have a 96 blazer LT 4X4 4.3L with only 200000 km's, are these 2 engines compatable? i am thinking of an engine swap, easy or hard? anything to look out for?

The blocks are the same, not sure about the intakes. With that many miles it wouldn't hurt to swap the intakes, there both probably do. If you want to try a cheaper fix, I've used "Blue Devil" headgasket repair on several cars and they are all still on the road. It's kind of expensive $60 dollars US, but it comes with a money back guarantee, and doesn't clog your cooling system.
