Ill usually get 14 around town and around 18 on the highway. i am sitting on 31s though. can a smaller muffler like a flowmaster or something help mileage? maybe an intake too? i would think maybe helping it breath better might help mpg's. i have a muffler for it but ive yet to put it on. if it will bring mileage up then ill definitely throw it on. let me know what you all think

I'm watching this thread. I get about 15 MPG in town and I drive slow and easy on my 4.3...

My 04 blazer dropped from 19 to 14 mpg. Discovered the rear calipers were rusted up and the brakes were dragging. Repaired--bank to 18-19mpg.

Been keeping an eye on the mileage. Typically 16-18 in town, 19-22 on the highway.

I've got the same problem. I just rolled over 70,000 miles, and I can only get around 8 mpg city, or 12 highway. Mine is a 2wd 2 door. I think it's time for a tune up, and hopefully that will get my numbers back up.
