Default Gas leak mystery

leak is in the area of the lines on the frame next to tank. New fuel line, new return line. Only leaks with more than a half a tank and when I shut it off and then it leaks for just a few minutes. maybe a half a cup at most. only 2lines left in that area. any help?

Have you found exactly where it is leaking from, if not, get a mechanics mirror and a flash light and start looking. make sure its not the tank.

Had the tank off a week ago for a new pump, inspected it then and found nothing. Could the tank build pressure and leak? And what about the valve on the front of the tank, that line maybe? That valve is new also

I have not really heard of a tank building pressure and leaking, your best bet is to look around and find the leak. Would be easier than having everyone on here say a different part that could leak LOL

Yes, I believe its one of the other 2 lines, which one is more likely to have a little gas in it when running? The one from the center line off the pump or the one from the valve on the front of the tank? With my luck I have a 50/50 chance here and I`ll pick the wrong one

Your best bet is to follow the lines all the way back from the filter location.

The gas has to be going somewhere... Its best to check over the whole fuel system... report back with the results . Just curious whats going on.

unfortunately we cant give you a mystery answer on this problem. the only real thing you can do is look and find where its leaking from and fix that problem. Since there is quite a few things coming off the fuel tank. Dont want you replacing EVERYTHING until you get to the actual problem.
