Default gas wont go

Here's something strange a fellow called me about his blazer said it wouldn't take fuel in it. It was low on fuel but when he pumped it in it would act like it was full spray fuel out and shut the pump off. I told him maybe he was putting it in to fast he said he put it in slow. Maybe blocked main fuel line but that would be a big block or kinked fuel line on tank side???? confused in Tn.

It would either have to be a plugged vent line on the filler neck or a faulty anti-siphon valve in the filler neck. Either of these would result in fuel pushing back out.

I dunno. We seem to have had several posts regarding this same problem on members' trucks.

Seems like it has been popping up quite a bit lately. The problem definitely lies in the fill pipe/vent line assembly that is used. Could be corrosion...

I believe the fill pipe can be removed without completely dropping the tank out. All depends on the rotation of the hose clamp holding it to the tank.
