got some crazy issues

Had a similar problem with my '02 in that the dash display (PRNDSL) would dim during the day; replaced the daylight sensor...no change. So I did the resistor mod and it fixed the dim display...but the DRL lights still come on. I think the only way to end that is to pull the fuse out.

My '00 Jimmy did that - I think I just pulled the fuse and all was well ... until several months later when the multifunction switch failed to light the high-beams. Mickey Moused that, and a few months after that something failed inside the body control module, leaving my wife with no headlights at all 30 miles from home at 10pm. I ended up rewiring the entire lighting system instead of trying to dig out and replace the module.

That's part of the reason why the truck looks the way it does in my avatar there. Got so sick and tired of little stupid failures like that. The last straw was the P0300. Now it's parts are all over North America.

I replaced the sensor no joy lights come on auto
