I am aware of the rev-limiter on the Blazers.
Is there a maximum vehicle speed governor on the vehicle also?

I believe so. My 2001 and my Dad's 99 GMC Sierra maxes out at 97MPH before the vehicles slow back down.

I'm guessing that's sarcasm?

On my first gen I don't think there was one, it just revved until it couldn't go any faster. According to my buddy, we were doing 101 MPH. If I had any better gearing (3.08 I believe, with oversized tires) I imagine I could have gone faster.

My 96 stops at 97-98ish. It could go more but it is governed.

Any model with a pcm are speed governed by its programming settings.

Hi. I live in Trinidad. I have a 1995 blazer 4x4 4.3l . I also have an Eaton Supercharger, intake manifold for a 97 with harness, computer, etc. The S/C is 100hp more but if i can't increase the speed limit, what's the point. Is there / What programmer to use? Please advise me someone.

My 2000 ZR2 tops out at 97.4 mph my 2002 LS tops out at 110.4 mph I thought that was because it was a regular LS and my 2000 was a ZR2. I found it is a fluke because all the other 02's lose it at about 97 I just lol and pull away

You can get your limiter removed by having your pcm tuned. I just sent mine to blackbear performance. All the full size gm guys swear by blackbear. He can remove torque managment aswell as remove speed limiter, firmer shifts, improve shift points, etc. I can't wait to get my new pcm!
