After you take the intake off and figure out that you have a leaking regulator and probably a leaking injector, order the spider assembly from rock auto. It comes with the new bracket you will need, and while youre there get the gasket set. Make sure its the upper intake gasket set.

And a tip, before you try to get the top part of the assembly to seal up into the upper intake, make sure the bracket bolt is nice and lose and the bracket has plenty of play. then lube it up and make sure it slides as far up into the intake as the stock one is now. Or else you will do like i did and end up with a big vacuum leak

97 cherryblazer,It sounds like you are pretty certain I have a leaking spider. I hope its just the reg.I'll probally have to wait till wednesday to look at it.About how much is the spider assembly from rock auto. Is that the upgraded one that I heard about on the forum that is supossed to be better than the original?

Im about 99% sure at least. And the spider and the regulator are connected, i dont think you can replace only the regulator and if you can theres no point. The spider is about $240 after shipping including the gaskets. Im not sure if you can get the old style, If it goes out everyone replaces with the MPI. You will be much happier with the MPI upgrade I just did it to both my blazers and theres a pretty nice difference.

Ok,they have the delphi for about $215 & the a/c delco is about $320.Would the delphi be ok? I read where the delphi is the conversion from scpi to mpi.

Its actually a MFI swap. The only thing you need to buy besides the updated spider is the new retaining bracket and the gasket/seal kit for the plenum. Delphi is just as good as delco.

Alright, so I pulled the upper intake off and hooked the fuel lines back up,turned the key on to pressurize the system and the fuel is leaking from the back of the regulator. It's coming out of the little tube right out the back.I didn't see any leaks coming from the injectors.I think I am going to just get the regulator and hope that fixes it.It is like $30 cheaper at rock auto than advanced.Do I need to get a new gasket for the intake because the old one looks fine as it was replaced 2 years ago? Thanks for the help.
