Vehicle specific application NOT for all 4.3L engines. Valve cover gaskets are too big... must be cut and RTV patched... on my 2002 2wd Blazer with W code engine (Canadian built) . Intake gaskets not best fit around coolant ports...restricts flow somewhat when assembled. Top Quality gaskets but be prepared to "fit" to your engine!!!

 

Interesting. What are the first 11 characters of the VIN? Look on the RPO code sticker in the glove box, (bunch of 3 character codes) and post all that start with "L".

I've not had a problem with my 98's or 99's. I bought one set of gaskets at Autozone and one set from Amazon.

 

Seems like another member came across that a while back too. I've NEVER had that issue. If the OP, or someone else with that same problem would post the first 11 characters of their VIN, I can research it and come up with something.

 

Maybe they are putting the wrong valve cover gaskets in the kit. I used this set on my 2001 Blazer W code last year with no problems with fit.
