Default Heater problems?

1996 Blazer. 201,300 miles. I bought this Blazer 3 years ago and I just dont think it heats the inside of the vehicle like it should. The engine runs at normal operating temp. The blower motor works fine. Just thinking that it isnt blowing hot air like it should and doesnt blow very hard even with the fan on high. Is it possible that the heater core is plugged and not letting air through like it should or is there anything else that you have run into with your Blazers.

Well, this problem has been discussed in many, many threads. It could be a plugged core or it might be low cooolant level. Use the 'search' feature and see if any of the other discussions can be of help.

I just fixed mine, i was having the same problem. It was a blocked heater core. Try flushing and back flushing the heater core.
