so I own a 4 door 4 wheel drive 2004 chevy blazer, now heres my problem.i cant put gas in it, it leaks ever so slowly into the tank, I always had trouble putting gas into it(have only owned it for several months now, was given by family member), would only take half nozzle speed at the pump, then one day it got worse I guess and now it does as stated above. barley any flow at all, now ive spent the whole day looking around the fourms and ive noticed that everyone that has this problem point the the evap purge valve or the charcoal box hoses being blocked, so I disconnected the 2 hoses from the charcoal box, no luck, before I touch anything electrical I would like to ask for advice first.
What ive noticed: when I attempt to fuel it up, it seems as the gas just doesn't go down but the weird part is there is no back pressure, it doesn't burp or make any air noise while it slowly goes down or when the gas cap is opened. so what could be in the filler pipe/neck the could stop the gas like that and what could I do? I tried a long flexiable but still wire in down the neck, no luck
ooh and above all no CEL (check engine light)
HELP!

dont start with electrical teats on the purge valve. with engine off thats a normally closed valve. you have a vent issue. if you already took the hoses off the canister from the tank, take the hose off the neck of the tank and check for obstructions there.

Might want to check the anti-siphon ball in the filler neck. There is a plastic ball, about the size of a ping pong ball, in the filler neck that prevents a would-be thief from siphoning fuel. You can see the ball at the tank end of the filler neck: Dorman - OE Solutions Replacement Filler Neck for Fuel 577-947: Buy best Fuel Tank Filler Neck at Advance Auto Parts# If it gets stuck, it takes forever to fill the tank. If you rap on the neck, close to where the ball is, you might get lucky and dislodge it. If not, ya gotta take the neck out to "solve" the problem.

When dropping my tank, I had to cut the filler tube connection. Then just got a new coupler and put on.
