Default Help identifying where a wire goes...

2001 Blazer, 4WD

I just put my dash back together (heater core) -- Just noticed this wire sticking out the bottom underneath the glovebox. It originates from behind the main wiring harness (also seen in picture). Can someone tell me what this is and where I plug it into.... I can't find it. (picture attached)

Thanks,
Axe

It's probably from a feature that your truck doesn't have. If everything works the way it should i wouldn't worry about it. Alot of times they don't make 50 seperate wiring harnesses for trucks with as many different accessories. They make 2-3 and if the accessory isn't installed they tuck the connector away.

Thanks for the response, it was actually the temp control -- plugs in next to heater core box. I had to remove the dash again to reattach
