Default Help!!! Melted injectors!!!

I have a 98 Blazer I just got for $800. I tore apart the spider assembly BC it was running way rough with horrible gas milage and throwing p0300. Did my research as to what all it could be... Anyways.. Took off the top... My fuel injection hoses are meted to ****!! Why would it do this? I'm just hoping this is THE problem and not ONE OF the problems.... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Cool You burning Nitro

What are we talking about 1 or 2 injectors or the whole smash. did your intake catch fire.

About the only way you can melt injectors is you have one leaking really bad and the engine backfires and then maybe, the intake catches fire or your engine overheats for an extended period of time.

Your regulator could be screwed up bad, dumping all kinds of gas. Virtually, unheard of though, post the pics and give more info on the number of cylinders affected.

Did it run before you pulled the injectors, I would advise not too plan any long trips, except downhill that is!!!!

Your looking at getting a new spider, monitor your temp carefully. Water and oil, check your gas pressure at the rail. Check your return line for blockage, without more info I haven't the foggiest.

Best of Luck,,,, post back your any further info.
