start testing the fuel pressure

96+ Fuel System Diagnosis - Blazer Forum - Chevy Blazer Forums

Possibly a leaking injector or weak pump or even a bad fuel filter

How would the diff fluid cause a problem at idle?

Sounds like my blazer, and I'm fairly certain mine's due to a leak of the fuel system.

I think it would be helpful to understand what 'nasty, nasty idle' means. I can think of three ways it might seem nasty.

Start with something radical. Tap the base of the EGR a couple of times with a socket extension and hammer. I sh*t you not.
