Help-p0300 random cylinder misfire
Yes i have a guage and yes i know how to check fuel pressure. Im not a city boy boy anymeans (no affense to anyone). But i am only use to old school vehicles without all the computer controlled bs. Now i have a problem beliving its the distributor. Why would it start great cold but crank over and over when its warm? also when i clear the codes, as soon as i flcik the key over the light instantly comes on. Now isnt it suppose to run for a few then collect the code that it is throwing? Idk but its almost time to give up after these last checks and just drive the thing the way it is.
Im having similar problems but my motor rather randomly stalls after a few hours of usage. What was your fuel pressure reading. Mine read 50psi at idle and held constant. They say the fuel pressure regulator (if vacuum) can have a margin of error of 3 to 10 pounds. Does this sound normal?
