Default Help please!!!!

I've got a 2004 Blazer and is making this God awful noise. When I push the 4 High button, it stops but once I go back to 2 wheel the noise starts again. It gets louder as I slow down but when I come to a complete stop, it quits. Wheel bearings have been replaced. Garage hadn't a clue as to what it could be. Don't really want to take it to a Chevy garage if it's so ring I can fix possibly myself.

Does the four-wheel-drive switch on the dash have three buttons or four buttons?
