Help with replacing lifters
You'll need to pull the intake manifold and the valve covers. You can then remove the rocker arms, push rods, and pull the lifters out.
What makes you think you have to replace the lifters? If you have some valve tick, you may want to first make sure that the rocker arms are tight. You only have to remove the valve covers for this. You'll have to rotate the engine over to ensure that the lifters are on the cam base circle (all the way down) before you can torque the rocker arm bolt for that valve. While you are there, you may want to pull each push rod and make sure that it isn't bent by rolling it on a piece of flat glass.

I think it's pretty straight forward. The fuel lines don't really like to move, but that's about the biggest thing you would run into. Plus just the annoyance of taking hoses and throttle cables and things like that off. Not difficult, just a bit time consuming.
I'm also curious to know why you think you need lifters? Have you been that far into the engine lately? If you have other issues it would be a good time to fix them. LIM gasket, clean or replace the spider, etc...
