Well i got it to start up it to a few times turning the switch on and off for the fuel pressure to raise up past 50 which will allow it to start. i gently rev'd the engine a little, left it alone to idle then the fuel pressure dropped, engine shut off and now there is now fuel pressure or fuel pump action at all. i tested the voltage going in to the pump and it hit 12 volts for the 2 seconds after ignition turn on and off. SO I Figure it is likely the fuel pump. I probably didn't need to replace the regulator but i did clean out the fuel system and throttle body and intake mani while I had it taken apart. And the cleaning was badly needed. time to get a good quality fuel pump now. I have a 1 year warranty on the pump i bought on ebay, it may cost me shipping to get it replaced through there. A friend's wife has a 98 s10 and had to replace her pump 7 times in a 4 yr period. If i can get a good discount I may just buy one from a local store.

Do yourself a favor and do not follow in the footsteps of your friend's wife. Get an AC Delco pump. No substitutes.
