Default Here's my situation

My 96 Blazer sat for 2 months while i found time to do my intake gasket. Finally got around to doing the gasket. Now it has a valve tap, slight missand engine code is #5 misfire. I'm thinking the 2 mths wore a seal or something. After searching and searching I have found that i think the only way to fix is to get the head redone. Is this recommended or shoudl I just buy a new head. Also the cap, rotor, and wires only have about 10k on them. besdies this problemt he truck runs awesome, starts right up in the cold morning, runs and drives great, gas milage decreased maybe a mile or two. Any input woudl help. Thanks
