I have a 99 chevy blazer... I have been having an issue with it lately... It starts fine, but when I put it in drive and go to take off, it chugs hard and makes a clacking noise, kinda sound like its coming from below me, it makes forward progress, I am pressing almost to the floor with the gas, it will chug and surge a handful of times, then it will kick in and take off.. I just changed the distrubutor today, had a starting issue with it... The service engine soon light has been on, on and off, usually comes on after a couple of miles. Would you guys or one of the techs have any suggestions, it's my daily beater driver... so I don't want to spend much more than I have too, I am pretty handy and will probably do a lot the smaller maintainence things myself, but is there something that I should focus on first to solve this Surging and clack...Thanks for your help...
