okay so heres the deal,my 97 blazer stalls when its not warmed up,the hesitation varies from very bad every stop light to every so often, and idling is what has me super confused it acts like it wants to accelerate with my foot completely on the brake.so i have to put it neutral at a stop if its for more than a minute or so...i replaced the vac line to the maf sensor and new plugs distributor less than 500 miles ago...i was thinking fuel injectors maybe but i have the spider injector which cost over 300 please help...i hate to spend that money and it not fix the problem

if the two plugs are connected on what i want to call the mass air flow sensor, you know the tube that runs to my throttle body from the air fliter lol not mechanic just a 21 year old trying to fix his truck and learn..so i could be worng but yeah if they are plugged in everytime i hit the gas it stalls..thanks hope to here some feed back

sounds like a vacuum leak. Does it act up when you hit the brakes? or just all the time and doesnt matter. The fuel injector problem usually just casues it to bog down. You ID'ed the MAF well, it tells how much air is entering the engine. If ANY air enters the engine AFTER this component it will casue it to idle up and not run right. Could be a vacuum leak or an open spot in the intake plenum behind the MAF to the throttle body. Make sure it's seated on the throttle body good.

+1, could also be a dirty idle air control valve. Check out the DIY tech section to see how to remove and clean it and the throttle body.

Thanks gonna clean it today see what happens thanks

no vacuum leaks, cleaned the iac valve today, new spark plugs, and clean the egr valve, then i plugged my maf sensor back in it would drive at all,it would start up then as soon as i shifted in gear it stalled everytime,i unplugged it,then it right with only the hesitation didnt stall at all on the way home from where i was working on my truck at..so no idle problems for the most part with the maf sensor unplugged..but still have hesitation?im very confused.and my oil pressure gauge is all over the place...

crank case vent on the back of the air plenum. ive forgot to put mine on a couple times and it does close to what you describe.

Also, have you cleaned the MAF with MAF spray cleaner? Next I would do a fuel pressure and leakdown test.
