I've got a 2004 Blazer and want to know if anyone knows where under the molding near the brake/gas pedals is the override button for the security system?
I have a problem starting the car sometimes and this might be part of my solution, just wondering where exactly it is..I can't find it.

Interesting, I didn't know that. I have a feeling it's interfering with me starting the car sometimes, and I'd like to remove it altogether if that's the case.
On the stock 04 Blazers, when you hit the LOCK button on the fob, does the first click lock the doors, and if you click it a second time it beeps the horn?

Sounds right, but many aftermarket alarms do this as well...

What are the stock security features of an 04 Blazer? Is there any feature that essentially locks out the ignition for a few minutes?
Where are the "mainframes" of these aftermarket systems usually installed/what do they look like?
Sorry for all the questions, but this is bugging me[8D]

If your ignition switch is malfunctioning, it will lock out the ignition for 10 minutes, but this is most commonly accompanied by the security light being steady on.
As far as aftermarket units... Typically under the dash on the driver side, but they could be anywhere.

Another clue to the problem..Again today it woulden't start, so with the key in the ignition and powered on, I began to lock/unlock the doors with the fob..did that a few times and it started up.
