How do I do a proper Heater core flush ?

Default How do I do a proper Heater core flush ?

99 Blazer having heating problems and I've read several posts about doing a flush and I'm wondering how exactly do I proceed with this?

Remove the heater core hoses from the engine block (one on the water pump, the other to the passenger side of the thermostat housing). Using a garden hose, flush into one line, then the other until you cget nice clean water from either end.

Thanks for the info. Worked great. Anyone with heating issues try this. Can actually turn the heater down now because it's too hot. It only takes a couple minutes to do.
