How many quarts needed for a power steering fluid change?

I have 135,000 on my 98 blazer and am catching up on maintenance. I don't think I've ever changed out the power steering fluid, but I'm not sure. I'm using the method where you draw out fluid and add some, bleed the bubbles and repeat. I'm using a brake bleeding kit to pump out the fluid. I get about half a quart at a time. I've done it twice, but it still looks pretty dark and I ran out of fluid. I only bought one quart. How many times or quarts should I use doing this? Thanks for the help!!!
