The pot is the blue gear inside the actuator. If it still goes cold to hot I don't see the actuator being the problem.

This is my blend door actuator, seems to be out of range?

The gears are ok. Between pin 10 and 7 there is a resistance of 4870 ohm.

What to do next? Take the gears out and move the main gear to the centre position? You think the problem is not the actuator?

Any ideas? Should i put the main gear in zero position? Or will it completely stop working then?

Did you say you replaced the actuator once ?

that is totally different from mine. Best I can say is to get the resistance centered and the physical output gear centered and reinstall without powering on until its back in the truck.

yes i replaced the actuator last year.

There is no adjustable pot inside. I centered the main gear and put it back in, but still the same. Only full cold and full hot, no else positions....

Seems like i need a new one again

If it's like mine. Pins 10 & 9 were the two pins going to the pot. Get a meter on those and see what they read in ohms. You able to get the motor out of there so that you could then freely turn the gears and see the pot change readings ?

Do you still have the original actuator from the truck ?
What were the symptoms of that actuator ?

If it was just "over-driven" I would talk you through resetting that one.

The blue gear is the pot in my actuator.
I wonder if they just put the pot on one of your other gears. remove the gears and get me a photo.

By turning the output gear the resistance between pin 10 & 9 changes from 0.5 to 5k ohm.

Unfortunately it even didnīt start the learning procedure now. I pull the HVAC fuse for a minute, connect the actuator, and turn key to ignition. It didnīt move until i change the temperature.

At about 70° it goes to full hot. Below 70° it goes to full cold.

Didnīt have the old one, because i bought the car without actuator
But it worked for 1 year with this one until i unhooked the battery...
