I know it's a common question that hass been asked and answered in about a million threads, but I don't have the time to read through a million threads. So, I'm asking to see if anyone has a memory or link to some good information on this subject.
I just acquired a '97 s10 Blazer (First Blazer, First Love). The previous owner was a hack to say the least. My vacuum hoses are a disaster. What I really need to know is where the heck does the HVAC vacuum enter the cabin/penetrate the firewall. My blower is stuck on floor and defrost. I found the grey vacuum line under the glove box and it is connected, However I can't be sure that I have vacuum feeding the system from the engine compartment.
I only have two lines connected to the ball reservoir, one goes to the PVC? and the other to the Trans.
Oh yeah then there's the 4x4. The switch on the dash engages the front drive shaft but hubs don't lock. I fairly confident that both issues are vacuum related after scanning though the forum, however I'm a visual learner and I haven't been able to find any good visualizations to aid in finding these hoses.
Lower dash left pulled apart - I will not be defeated - stumped, maybe?
