HYPERTECH Power Tuning Module and the Hypertech Power Programmer 111
Are these the same thing or different. If I buy one can I still get more power with two or is just one going to do all the upgrade. I mean will it be a waste to get both. I saw for sale @truckperformance.com

Default RE: I do not know the difference please help

The PTM is an inline module which intercepts the sensor data and modifies it by a predetermined amount based on that same sensor data. The PP3 is a PCM software/firmware (however you want to look at it) upgrade and really is the only way to go in my mind. I think that many of the inline modules are a gimic and I'd rather have it look stock than have an extra box hangin' around in the engine bay.

BTW, HyperTech.com has all the information you'd need to know about their products... Who'd a thunk it... LOL
