Default I have another problem

So today while I was driving home from work, my 1996 blazer started missing really bad, no power and would not stay running. So when I did get it home I looked at everything I could to find the problem. The motor has around 3100 miles on since I had it put in. I also had all spark plug wires changed then, and cap and rotor button. Today I replaced the rotor button and the dis. cap again, because I was not getting any fire to the #1 plug. That fixed that problem. But it is still missing so bad that I can not drive it down the road. It shakes the whole blazer because of the miss. Any thoughts on what I should try next? I am thinking it maybe a value issue, but have no way to tell.

If you think its a valve issue, take it to a shop and have the compression checked in the cylinders.. that will tell you more or less if you're having valve issues..

Also its a new motor you said, get your hands on a timing gun and check the timing? maybe its off?
