so this is my third time dropping my fuel tank fixing stuff on it. Everything work perfect except ONE thing...i can't fill up my tank past 1/2 full because im leaking through the vent valve...now, i thought all i had to do was put it in properly and twist it to secure it shut...am i missing anything?
(its my 97 4wd blazer ls)

 

Yea thats right, You should have to put the gasket around the vent valve, Then just drop it in and twist it, Hook up the line going to it and you should of been fine.

 

its on it, but it doesnt seem to be ON there tho...like the little metal ring isnt under any stress
