Well I just hit 128,000 miles on my blazer and ~20 miles after i noticed my idiot light came on. Concidence or problem that i should have checked out?

 

If the check engine light is on, it means that the PCM has sensed a fault with one or more of the sensors in the vehicle. Your local Autozone or Advanced Auto should be able to read the codes for you. Once you have them, let us know what they are, the actual code (should be something like Pxxxx). We'll diagnose from there.

 

Here I was thinking your gas light was stuck on...

 

yeah, without any more specifics, it could be the brake light, abs light, airbag light, gas light, check engine light, etc...

Probably that your gas cap is not on tight enough or something like that. Unless you noticed something different about the way the truck sounds/runs.

When I brought it in to have my oil changed they told me it had something to do with the CO levels

(oil changed ended up costing $400 b/c i needed oil, tranny, and coolent fluid, as well as windshield wipers) but Ive noticed a gain in accelaration and power (especially passing gear on highway)
