idles problems

Default idles problems

i have a 95 blazer when i turn it on it idles fine but after 1 minute or so it idlesrough and gets about 2500 rpm.then it drops back to about 1000 rmpand then it idles up and down and sometimes itwill die?

Sounds like a vacuum leak. Check all you're vacuum hoses and connections.

*Moving to 2nd Gen Tech*

I would start by removing the IAC valve from the throttle body and giving it and its bore a thorough cleaning. Erratic idle like that can be caused by a vacuum leak, but even a vacuum leak should smooth out to a set RPM...
