Default Ignition And Key Troubles

Hello,
I am new to this forum and may become a new Blazer owner. The Blazer I am looking into purchasing is a 2002 in immaculate condition. The vehicle is near perfect except for one hiccup. When you start it up, put it into drive and then drive around it is all fine. When you stop and put it into Park, normally, you should be able to shut off the ignition and remove the key. You are not able to remove the key when it is in gear. That is the normal operation. This Blazer, at times, will operate normally, but other times when you put it into Park after a drive and try to turn the key into the fully off position, it will not turn and the vehicle will think it is still in gear. This is an intermittent problem and after putting it into Park it will either work properly or you will have to wait a feww minutes to remove the key or jiggle the gear shifter.. Anyone have any informatio about this problem? Any help would be appreciated.

Default RE: Ignition And Key Troubles

Alright, so I figured out the problem. It is the switch located near the floorshifter. Anyone know how hard it is to replace it?
