I have a 2004 Chevy blazer zr2. Recently when I shift the center consul shifter to park it doesn't unlock the ignition and allow me to remove my key. I have to jiggle the shift lever back and forth a bit, in park to get the lock for the ignition key to disengage. Is there an easy fix for this? Like replacing a switch under the center panel where the shift stick is? Does anyone know what I should check or do to resolve this? Thanks.

I had the same problem on my 02 blazer there's a little button on the underside of the steering column on the right side covered by a cap take the cap off and push the button it to release your keys to fix it I just stuck a peice of hose in it to keep the button pushed in
