Default Ignition Switch Replaced - Still Problems...

my 2004 blazer had all symptom of an ignition switch problem, so i replace with new one, only to run into more problem, now even with key in off position i will get a buzzing, or clicking from under glove compartment ,i am pretty sure switch is in right position because i can turn to crank position can it be that i had a faulty switch to start, now if i fiddle with key buzzing would stop but then every indicator light would start blinking, but if i turn on head light to on position buzzing will also stop, any ideas anybody, help
