Good catch! Indeed I did remove my foot from the brake pedal as my Blazer is an automatic and apparently my feet were on auto pilot. I ran the procedure this morning successfully!
Just remember to keep your foot on the brake pedal WHILE you accelerate. It feels wrong to do it but it works. Fuel cutoff was at exactly 4k rpms, as stated in the instructions.

I went ahead and ordered one off Amazon. Was $160 + got a 10% off coupon = $144 + tax (free ship). Sending my Foxwell NT630 elite back (which did work for ABS bleeding at $139, but does little else other than ABS and SIR). I'll review the I-link 400 when I get it.

It appears to do everything except flashing. I paid $156 on Ebay. Came preloaded with GM.
Temporarily unlocked a radio I bought from the boneyard. Research said it couldn't be done, which is half right. As soon as I cycled the key it locked again. But at least I was able to verify that it worked. Seems to be a good deal for what it does.
BTW, I went to the ilink400 website and it was actually listed cheaper there. Like $119.
