Default Im stumped again

How is everyone, I ran into some other issues I was hoping for your thoughts. Had a problem recently with truck bucking around 2000 rpms. From this forum I learned about splicepack 423 and fixed the issue. Drove good for a week or so and now Im getting a mil light every so often coming back as cylinder 1 misfire and when pulling off slow you can tell it struggling, Kinda feels like its slipping out of gear. And as Im driving, say im doing 35 I can step down on it and it will not gear down, Just stays in the gear its in and slowly gains speed. Got under the truck and noticed that from the driver side of the trans was transfluid, not from the pan but the side where the shift cable is at, all over the electronic piece on the side that I dont what is. Then I noticed up higher there was a black hose not long enough to pull down, just there going to nothing. Do you know what that hose is above the shift cable towards the top of the trans happens to go to. Could it be a drainage hose of some kind? If so its in a bad spot. Thanks for time,

That hose sounds like it may be the vent line. Does it go to the transfer case? If its puking fluid you may have a bad transfer case seal. How is the fluid level in the trans?

The problem your having may not be transmission related. If you have a bad TPS for instance, that may be causing the issue too. I would do more troubleshooting and research before you replace anything!
Good luck!
