Default Intake Leak 99 4.3L

Do I really need to change throttle body and upper intake gasket. They donr seem to have anything to do with the leak at the lower intake and heads. I didnt see that described in the Dtips article. Saw it in others but wonder whether it is really necessary.

If they are still in good condition and don't come in the kit with the LIM gaskets, then you shouldn't need to replace them.

The D-tips article doesn't mention them because the throttle body and upper plenum are not removed if you follow the steps provided.
