Default interesting issue...

Well, the blazer Just broke down. Had poor idle and then sprung a coolant leak. Stopped and replaced the hose, noticed another broken hose and replaced it as well. Started the truck and it ran fine. Started home and had no response on throttle, very poor idle, the taillights stopped working and the windshield wipers turned on full speed with no response to the switch.also noticed that my brake pedal wasn't soft. Like the brake booster wasn't working. Also noticed no heat coming from vents even when vehicle warmed up. What in the hell is going on? All of these things suddenly stopped working st one time, no broken belt.

Would really appreciate any help.
Thanks

Everything but the wipers and tail lights sounds like a vacuum leak on one of the lines. Something not connected vacuum line wise or broken line.

I had a battery go dead one day and the car did behave very strange. Not sure what made your hoses go but could the coolant have affected some electrical components like alternator. Watch the voltage on the meter when running

I agree with the vacuum leak. That will cause poor idle and loss of HVAC controls. Open up the hood, start the truck, and listen for the vacuum leak

Voltage is rampant, varying greatly at idle. Battery is only about 4 months old.

I think three electrical issue stems from the coolant leak. Very hot coolant fried some wires possibly?

What do you mean 'greatly? If it goes above 15 do not drive until you get that alternator checked. You WILL ruin your battery... a t least. If volts gage pegs you may be frying other stuff too.

It stays below the peg, between 0 and 14.volts. The truck is really struggling to stay running.

Just noticed coolant in the throttle body and the exhaust gas recirculation hose has a milky substance inside.

Okay, today I started her up and she ran fine at first, then once she warmed up had the same issues as before,

I have a system In the blazer, is it possible that the alternator can't keep up and that's causing the issue?
