I'd start with a fuel pressure test. A leaking FPR can dump fuel into the intake. This is not anywhere near as common on the 96+ SCFI engines as it was on the previous CPI engines, but still a possibility given the location of the FPR (inside the intake manifold). A fuel pressure & leak down test will tell you if you have #1 enough pressure and #2 a leak.

I dont know if this had anything to do with it or it was just chance but I droped it in neutrel and it started.Where could i preform this test at on the motor is there a port or sometin I can put a gauge on? And if this FPR is weaking would that ovisbily be causing my feul consuption problem were I would think Im losing gas but cant Find the Leak anywhere

If it repeatedly starts in neutral where it won't start in park, it is possible that the problem is caused by your park/neutral position switch on the driver side of the transmission. This part isn't typically affected by heat, but is isn't outside the realm of possibility.

I just checked the oil and it does have a gasse smell to not very strong but a gasse smell all the same whats going on and how hard is it to take the intake cover off and repare this leak.Is it a day job or just an hour or two.to replace this part does that sound right using alot of gas, wont start when hot,gas smell in the oil whats wrong can you tell me with this info or will I have to find a way to do the pressure test

Do a pressure test. It's the easiest way to confirm that you have a fuel system issue.
As far as removing the upper plenum, the most difficult part is getting the fuel lines off. Try to resist the temptation to bend them out of the way! Time... That depends greatly on your experience and the tools you have available.
