Anyone have an issue like this before? Horsing around a little on a side road, stereo loud, then it felt like it was misfiring, definitely a vibration. when i got home, there was a lot of steam and it wasnt charging. rad was leaking pretty bad, then i found this:


apparently my fan blew apart... i was on pavement, and couldn't see anything that may have touched it. there were a few touches on the redline

An engine mount giving way has been known to cause that.

found signs of old fractures in a few if the blades. no signs of wear in the shroud or tips of the blades. motor mounts are good.

I have seen these plastic blades do this before! After 10+ years of heat/cold exposure this stuff breaks down.Why they just didn't stick with aluminum I'll never understand!
