I remember my dad's '86. He had a push bar on it and he only got rid of that truck back in 95-96, but the push bar on that truck was pretty much brown/orange.

Here's how I put my 6" piaas on my push bar (first gen). The lower bar I loosenned then mounted the lights onto the tabs. Then roll the bar back so that the lights are positioned where you want them. Can you do that on yours?

That's a good idea, and I tried doing it, but it makes the lights face downwards. Not completely downards, but downwards enough to just shine on the road. Tomorrow I'll do that again and just look at it to see how much better it works.
What kind of push bar is on the truck? And did you encounter the same problem as me?

One thing I'm also thinking about trying is turning the top bar so the curv is facing upwards, which should give me enough room to focus my lights a little straighter.

My bars are both straight. I wasn't able to get the lights in without rotating the tube. So even if you rotate the tube back straight after being mounted the lights still won't fit it?

Nope, the top of the lights were hitting against the top bar.

Are there any extra nuts/washers on the lights that can be removed to get the height lower? Can the bottom bar be flipped at all to move the location of the light tabs down a little? I guess if you can rotate the top bar, that would work too.

I removed all the nuts and extra parts, even flipped the tabs, but the light itself is just huge. 6" compared to this push bar is like a monster. The only way I can fit them in is by having them sticking out.
