Default Key less Entry question

I have a 2001 2door LS blazer, and i was wondering if i had key less entry in my truck i do know that there is a light in the gauge cluster that flashes security when i turn on the ignition, so i was thinking maybe I do have key less. But when i bought the truck it didn't come with a remote. So how can i figure out if i do have key less, and if i do were can i get a remote? and were/how can i program that remote? thanks, and help would be greatly appreciated.

programming the keyless entry on your style... while inside your blazer all doors closed hold down the lock button on the drivers door and cycle the key off, on off, on, then it will enter program mode and the door locks will lock and unlock within 15 seconds i believe you need to hold down the lock and unlock button on your new key fob the truck will lock and unlock for every key fob programmed ( up to 4)

you can buy them from a stealership... but i would go to a local autowrecker.. there are different types too and i know that the newer ones wont work for the older ones and vice versa i have an 03 and a 97 and they wont work for each other.... so on that note, its probably better to buy one from the stealership unless you can convince the guy at the wrecker to let you try them in the parking lot

i used to get fobs all the time when i worked for an autowrecker .. they had a huge bucket of them and sold them for ten bucks each << you could buy 8 of them for the price of one at the stealership

dude, according to my owner's manual, your vehicle is equipped with the PASSLOCK theft-deterrent system. PASSLOCK is a passive theft-deterrent system. PASSLOCK enables fuel if the ignition lock cylinder is turned with a valid key. If a correct key is not used or the ignition lock cylinder is tampered with, fuel is disabled. During normal operation, the SECURITY light will go off approx. 5 secs after the key is turned to the RUN position. If the SECURITY light flashes, the PASSLOCK system has entered a tamper mode. If the SECURITY light comes on continuously while driving and stays on, there may be a problem with the PASSLOCK system and a trip to the stealership may be necessary. In short, I don't think you have keyless.
