Default key stuck in ignition, won't come out or start

Hey everybody,

I'm new to the forum and ran into a little problem today,I was reassembling my 2002 Blazer LS from replacing the heater core. When I finally get everything put back together. I go to start it up, and the Blazer wouldn't start, when I went to pull the key out the key wouldn't come out. I am at a loss for what is going on.

A little input would be greatly appreciated

try turning your steering wheel a little when you try to crank it. some times those keys wont move on full clock.

Check the fuses, if the Reverse light fuse blows you will not be able to shift or get your key to turn back. The button on the shifter will not push in if that fuse in NG
