lights flashing
Last night my wife walked out to the kitchen and saw the lights flashing on her ’98 Blazer, similar to when the anti-theft alarm goes off, but without the horn blowing. I was going to disconnect the battery, but first we played around with the remote open/close buttons, etc., opened and closed the doors, started her up, shut down, nothing seemed to work to stop it. Suddenly, after about 15 minutes, it stopped by itself. BTW, the alarm system was not on. Any ideas would be appreciated.

RE: lights flashing
was it wet outside. If so where is your alatm control box. Mine did a simular thing once and the box had gotten water into it. I just opened the box, dried it out and relocated it to a new spot in the truck. Problem was salved.
Also if it is mounted in the fender pocket under the dash then this is definatly something to look at. That area ets a lot of water to it no mater how much it is not suppose to.
