Well, ordered a genuine ACDelco fuel pump from Rock Auto. Installed it yesterday. Fired right up! I can't believe the difference between the 2. I cn actually hear the pump run and I hear the wooshing sound of fuel. Incredible. I went out this AM to start it.It started! Wow, what a relief.

BTW- this time it took 1hr and 20 minutes from start to finish instead of the 4 hrs last time!

To anyone who is thinking of buying the less expensive pumps, DON'T. Only buy an ACDelco.

 

There are two pumps for a 97 blazer in the ACDelco one has the letters
SGJ in the description one does not. How do you tell which one you need? I need?
