Default Manual HVAC Air Distribution Control

Hey!...has anyone found a replacement for the manual HVAC A/C/heat/vent distribution control without replacing the entire panel? Or is there a rebuild kit out there somewhere for it? Have looked at RockAuto, nothing there....ebay has used ones which I do not want since I already have one of those.

Thanks

Are you referring to the control panel for the HVAC system? I think Dorman might be selling them. You could also try a wrecking yard.

Hi Christine, yeah the air distribution control in the HVAC panel. I think I saw that Dorman has the entire panel and that may be my only path. Do not want a used one as the air distro control might be worse than the one I have.

Would be really nice if I could just find a replacement air distribution control instead of the whole panel.......or a rebuild kit for it. Probably just one O ring in there....I have not taken it apart to look at...which I likely will not do until weather warms-up and I no longer need heat. If I do find that it is a simple O ring that is leaking, then I might be able to find a replacement. If I do, I will share the info.

Hey was searching ebay the other day and found a new replacement air distribution control for the previous generation of Blazers. Sure looks like it is the same, but will need to do more research into part numbers.
