Mass airflow throwing code
Where's a good place to pick up a replacement? Probably not worth buying new, right?

Being a relatively fragile, new would be the best if you can swing it. Nothing worse than buying a used replacement only to find it did not work.
But try cleaning it first.

yeah, I'd thought about cleaning it ... probably should get a new filter in there too.
thanks as always for the input.

Let us know!

bwahahaha ... apparently at some point some rodent made a home of my intake. the old filter was partially crushed from the external air side, and it was LOADED with the remains of sunflower seed shells -- every single rib of the filter. I couldn't believe how many I shook out of there -- and there were still more falling out every time I flexed it.
The MAS itself looked good, but I sprayed it down anyhow. Throttle response and acceleration seem MUCH improved, going to clear codes at Advance Auto sometime today and see if I'm still getting MAS, O2 and small leak messages. (Already replaced the fuel cap, didn't do any good on the leak code ...)

SES light went off on its own. Acceleration has returned. And I can hear the truck sucking air at low RPM again ... though some of that noise may have been obscured by a bad bearing I replaced earlier this week, and not a reduction in airflow ... it's a toss-up.
